Some people’s opinions about mission archery

  • The Mission line of bows could sell for a higher retail and still be woth it imo. I have a Menance for my 11yr old daughter and my 18 yr old son had a Craze both good bows. The Ballistic is a great bow. you could also find an Elite z28 used here on the forum that would make you a very very nice Hunting Bow. But I agree shoot a few if you get a chance
  • I love my mission bow! It is very smooth and shoots well. My only complaints are that the grip is a little bulky and the back wall isn’t the greatest but overall Mission puts out very good bows. And for those who is wanting to know more about this amazing sport don’t hesitate to read archery books.
  •  First bow. Went to my local shop. Shot 4 bows by different companies. Eliminating one at a time. Last bow standing – the Mission MXR – Smooth draw, no hand vibration, and QUIET!!! Couldn’t be happier. Even customer service is amazing. I had some questions about arrow rests – shop had a whisker biscuit installed. I swapped it for an HHA Virtus drop away after my questions were answered. Best part – I just got my first ever Turkey. You won’t find a better bow for the money. Keep up the good work!

FAQ

How to select the correct arrow for your setup?

Selecting the right arrow is an extremely important part of honing in your archery set up. There are several different archery arrow manufacturers that produce excellent arrow shaft materials to suit your specific bow model. First things first, determine what type of bow you own. Next, measure the distance between the nock end of your arrow and the tip of your bow string. Add one half of an eighth of an inches to this measurement to get the proper arrow lengths. Finally, choose the manufacturer of your choice based on quality, price, and availability.

Arguably the biggest factor when choosing an archery bow is ensuring the right amount of stiffness. An archer needs to make sure they choose a bow that is not too stiff, otherwise they may find themselves struggling to pull back the string. On the flip side, if the bow is too flexible then the arrows shot could fly off course.

How to adjust the fast fit cam?

With new FastFit Cam Technology, adjusting the draw lengths on your Mission bows has never been easier. You can change them in less than thirty seconds using an allen wrench.

Loosely tighten, then loosen and retighten.

FastFit Cam technology has been incorporated into the Hammr, Radiks, and Switches. Watch the following videos and read through the instructions to learn how to adjust the fit.

How to find your draw lenght?

One of the very earliest stages in setting up your new compound bow begins with determining your draw weight. A compound bow is designed to be shot at a specific draw weight that matches the individual archer. Before shooting a bow, you must determine what draw weight you should be drawing and set the bow to your requirements. Determining this is easy.

If i buy a “used bow” does it have a lifetime warranty?

No, the warranty is for the original owner/purchaser only.
